One of the most important things you can do for your child’s health is to take them to the doctor for regular checkups. Your doctor can help you catch problems early and keep your child healthy.
FamilyCare Health covers well-child visits for children and teens. See a list of recommended health screenings for kids.
To find out which doctors are in the FamilyCare Health network, search our Provider Directory. Please call your doctor to make sure they are still accepting new patients.
Your children also need regular dental care. To find out which services are covered, see your Dental Benefits.
Vaccinations are a safe and effective way to help your child stay healthy by preventing illness. If you don't know which shots your child has already received, ask your child’s doctor. You can also check with ALERT, a statewide registry that keeps immunization records.
