Robin L. Richardson, DO
Dr. Robin L. Richardson is an osteopathic physician for Providence Medical Group in Hillsboro, Oregon. A native Oregonian, Dr. Richardson graduated with a degree in biology from Willamette University in Salem. He graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and completed his post graduate training at the former Eastmoreland Hospital. Dr. Richardson has a passion for educating young physicians in the virtues of true family medicine and pursues that through his relationship with COMP-Northwest, an osteopathic medical school in Lebanon, Oregon. Prior to serving on the Board, he was the Medical Director of FamilyCare Health. Dr. Richardson is a recipient of the J. Scott Heatherington D.O. Lifetime Achievement Award for lifetime distinguished service and achievement in the Northwest osteopathic community.
President and CEO
As founder of FamilyCare Health in 1984, Jeff Heatherington is a recognized leader in healthcare issues and has served on a number of State Boards, including the Oregon Health Council and the Oregon Bar Disciplinary Board. He was the executive director of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon for 30 years. Heatherington is a former international president of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and has been awarded the Distinguished Service Certificate by the American Osteopathic Association and holds an honorary degree from Western University of Health Sciences. He was instrumental in the development of The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific - Northwest in Lebanon, Oregon. Heatherington enjoys scuba diving, cooking, reading, boating, and spending time with his great grandchildren.
Matt Daskalos, DO
Matt Daskalos is a Board Certified Osteopathic Family Physician. He has been in a private group practice since 2000, and is President of Columbia View Family Health Center in Troutdale, Oregon. Dr. Daskalos received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and attended medical school at The Western University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He then served as Chief Resident for the Family Medicine Program at Eastmoreland Hospital. Dr. Daskalos remains active in patient care, as well as in education, working with medical students from across the country. With his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Dr. Daskalos is an avid sports enthusiast, and is passionate about coaching youth sports where he promotes health, safety, and leadership—both on and off the field.
Jeff L. Pawlowski, CLU
Jeff L. Pawlowski is a native Oregonian with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. As the CEO of Broad River, he created the organization with a clear vision to deliver a market-leading portfolio of financial products that protect and grow the assets of clients in the Pacific Northwest. Organizational management and development has always been a primary focus of Pawlowski’s, and his passion for supporting his local community has led him to be involved and to serve on the boards of local organizations. Pawlowski and his wife appreciate spending time with their two dogs, friends, and family. They also enjoy exploring the great Northwest.
Patricia Parker, DMD
Dr. Patricia Parker is currently the Dental Consultant and Manager of Health & Safety for Willamette Dental Group. She attended Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Parker owned a private practice in Jefferson, Oregon, for 11 years, then joined Willamette Dental Group. After 14 years of group practice with Willamette Dental Group in Albany, Oregon, she transferred to the corporate office in Hillsboro, Oregon. Dr. Parker served eight years on the Oregon Board of Dentistry. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Dental Examiners and examines for two national dental testing agencies. She enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Parker and her husband love to travel and experience other cultures.
Joe Hromco, PhD
Dr. Joe Hromco is a Clinical Psychologist and VP of Operations with Western Psychological & Counseling Services. Raised in Oregon, he completed his undergraduate degree at Willamette University and received his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. Dr. Hromco's clinical specialty is in health psychology, providing psychosocial interventions to address health concerns (e.g., chronic pain, psychogenic seizures, chronic health conditions, and somatization). He enjoys playing music in addition to spending time with family, swimming, and cheering on the Timbers and Blazers.
Michael L. Riley
Michael Riley is president and research director for Riley Research Associates, a Portland-based global research and communications consulting firm. He is a past president of the Healthcare Communicators of Oregon and the Oregon Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Riley has served on the boards for local chapters of the Public Relations Society of America, Portland Advertising Federation, Rotary Club of Portland, Beaverton Education Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Aid Society / Government Affairs Committee. He holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from PRSA and is recognized with a Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) from the Market Research Association.
Richard J. Barsotti, MD
Dr. Richard J. Barsotti is a native of Portland and a partner of Metropolitan Pediatrics, a privately-owned group practice which started in Portland over 100 years ago. He is a graduate of Oregon State University and completed his medical degree at Oregon Health Sciences University. His pediatric internship and pediatric residency were both at the Los Angeles County - University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr. Barsotti served in the U.S. Air Force as a pediatrician. He is board certified in pediatrics. Outside of work, Dr. Barsotti enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, skiing, reading, and photography.
Robert K. Carus, CPA
Robert Carus has been a certified public accountant for over 30 years and is the president of RK Carus CPA, PC. After graduating from Portland State University, he worked as a consultant at a global accounting firm and at Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. Carus enjoys cycling, hiking, traveling, and meeting new people.
Carl Erickson, DO
Dr. Carl Erickson is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He has been practicing in the Sellwood-Moreland Community since 1982. Dr. Erickson received his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. He earned his medical degree from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980. In his free time Dr. Erickson enjoys cycling and gardening.
Royal Harris is a Portland native and alumnus of Concordia University with over 10 years of experience working in community mental health and over 20 years working with at-risk youth. His work with at-risk youth has included providing street-level gang outreach services to the City of Portland through his nonprofit organization, The Aristotle Project. Harris has also partnered with Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare to provide clinical liaison services to the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice Parole and Probation Department Gang Unit. He is a trained mediator and certified community health worker. Harris currently works for the Empowerment Clinic as the in-reach specialist, providing assistance, support, and mentoring to African American men coming out of prison or involved with the criminal justice system. He is also the Chair of the FamilyCare Health Community Advisory Council, the Vice-Chair of the Multnomah County Public Health Advisory Board, a member of the Multnomah County Health Birth Initiatives strategic work group, a financial coach for the Innovative Changes Financial Literacy program, and recruitment volunteer for the Airway Science for Kids program.
