The Oregonian's article "Happiness is ... a great place to work" featured FamilyCare Inc. as one of sixty companies and organizations in Oregon and Southwest Washington recognized as Top Workplaces in 2012. These companies are identified as Top Workplaces based solely on surveys completed by their employees. Top Workplaces are acknowledged not only as better places to work, but also as companies that are more likely to be successful than their peer organizations. A second article, "Top Workplaces: Best in category," gives the following quote from a FamilyCare Employee:
"The flexibility is extremely beneficial to my family and I. The benefits and extra gifts are very generous. The open-door policy makes me feel very comfortable in asking for or giving feedback. My workload is appropriate, manageable, and yet busy enough to keep the days going by quickly."
